Westminster Housing Society works in partnership with the Winnipeg Regional Health Authority, and with the social agency, New Directions for Children Youth Adults and Families, with respect to a number of our properties.

Two of our larger houses are leased to tenants who are recommended by the WRHA who have mental health problems, but who are capable of living independantly in the community with some degree of supervision and support. We have a similar arrangement with New Directions. In addition, some individual tenants in our other houses are recommended and supervised by the WRHA. Because of these partnerships, Westminster Housing is able to provide good quality housing at affordable rental rates to people who might otherwise live in inferior accommodation.
